Trade Policy

We give store credit that is based on the original retail price of the book, so it does not matter if the book came from us or from somewhere else. We only accept books that are in very good condition. We only take those that we think we can resell, and books that we are not overstocked on. We reserve the right to refuse any books for trade.

  • On Mass Market paperbacks we give 25% of the publishers list price as store credit.
  • On oversized Trade paperbacks we give 12.5% of the publishers list price as store credit.
  • On Hardcover books we give 10% of the publishers list price as store credit.
  • On childrens books we give $0.25 for small paperbacks and $0.50 to $1.00 for larger paperbacks as store credit. On small children's hardbacks we give $.50 to $1.00. We give up to $3.00 on larger children's hardbacks depending on the resale value.

Store credit can be used towards the purchase of used books, New books and audio books.

Using Store credit:
Having store credit does not mean our books are free. You must pay for half of the book in cash, check, or credit card and the other half from your store credit.
Example:
You buy $20.00 worth of books. $10.00 would come from your store credit and the other $10.00 plus Tax would come from cash, check, or credit card.

Visa/Master CardWe accept Master Card, Visa, Checks, and of course cash.
